Teacher Top Ten with Lisa

TEN "essentials" that I cannot scrapbook without:

  • a story to tell
  • photos that move me
  • patterned paper (preferably a few patterned papers)
  • a good journaling pen
  • my sewing machine
  • alphabets (chipboard, rub-on, sticker…you name it)
  • my jars and baskets of goodies
  • ink
  • something sharp to cut with (if it cuts straight that is a bonus)
  • adhesive

NINE words I love are:

hope, giggle, conundrum, dude, perhaps, honor, whatever, snuggle, seriously

EIGHT ways I relax

  • scrapbooking
  • playing cars/superheroes/whatever with Todd
  • reading blogs/ surfing the internet
  • looking at the ocean
  • taking photos
  • watching TV
  • catching up with my husband after work
  • reading magazines

SEVEN things I love about my "every day" life …

  • Sunday- family dinners
  • Monday-a fresh "to do" list
  • Tuesday- Target day…gotta love Target day
  • Wednesday-late lunch day for Todd at school (extra Mommy time!)
  • Thursday-Favorite show night on TV
  • Friday-Todd stays up a little later…late night "family time!"
  • Saturday-soccer/t-ball etc

SIX places I'd love to visit before I die:

  • my grandchildren's school play
  • my sixtieth wedding anniversary party
  • the West Coast to the East Coast on a road trip
  • Campannori Italy
  • Ellis Island
  • a Pottery Barn store with an unlimited budget

FIVE things I do everyday, without fail:

  • tell my husband and son I love them (many times a day)
  • talk to my mom and my sister in law on the phone (many times a day)
  • check my email (many times a day)
  • drink my coffee (just once)
  • relax with Tivo

FOUR stores/websites I frequent:

  • Big Picture Scrapbooking (of course)
  • Target
  • Ikea
  • Scrapsupply.com (http://www.scrapsupply.com)

THREE layouts I love:

TWO decisions I've never regretted:

  • I've never regretted waiting for my real Mr. Right, even though it took an awfully long time to find him.
  • Even though it has been hard, I've never regretted leaving my full-time corporate job (where I had been for close to half my life) to work from home and take care of our son.

ONE additional and very important thing you should know about me is:

Expressing my creativity is non-optional for me, and I no longer make apologies for that.
